Reflection on Korea Trip

Annyeong-ha-sae-yoh!
안녕하세요

Day 1 - 22May2008

You will never imagine that when it time to head for airport, my dam luggage gave me problems. I set at for example password 123 and I tried to put 123 it couldn't open. Ended up 124. I tried to reset back and turn the lock. I tried again. DAMMIT this time worse couldn't open either. Then I sweat... Tried 123, 124, 125, 126..... AHH freak me off totally! Then dad tried and the password is 124? I was like wtf? Nvm.. I use the padlock instead.

As we were heading towards Changi Airport, we came across a car that is so LONG! Look at the pic below!

Long right? The number plate is SGZ9999_ LOL so cool man! First time saw such car in Singapore. Must be belong to the president. ^^ Dinner at Changi Airport. After dinner went to counter 4 to find Mr Chong and others. Collected passport and saw Irene! LOL her luggage was so small. Mine too big! =D
Boarding pass. =D

ShiJun and Sinya came to the airport to send me off. Touched... The plane started take off at around 11pm. SO excited and felt so amazing about aeroplane! The speed of the air plane was incredible! Looking at the night scenery of Singapore was gorgeous! Thanks Agnes for changing seats with me so I am able to sit with Irene and most importantly window seats. =)

Day2 - 23May2008

Landed at Incheon International Airport at 4.56am, Korea time 5.56am.

It was amazing to see the sky already so bright. Like Singapore time 7.15am. Summer time usually had early Sunrise =)

Look at the sunrise in the air! Gorgeous! ^^

After checking out at the Immigration and Checkpoint, collect luggage and waited for our Korean Tour Guide, Annie. After she arrived, we headed to our coach to put our luggage and off towards the Country Side. The moment we step out of the airport, the air is so cooling! One word "Shiok ah!" hahas! Then we proceed to country side area DanYang - DodamsamBong for the Three Top of Dodam.

In order to see a clearer scenery, most of us actually climb all the way up the hill. See how steep it is in the picture? Tiring but fun! =D I am not a good climber and I admit! =p Finally reach the top and took a few scenery picture and with friend. =) Few group photos together too =) Liyan the photographer of this trip =) After taking few pictures we climb down again. Look at how careful Mr Chong is when climbing down. That shows how steep it is! yeah? Told him to see those yellow line to identify the steps! haha!

Then we had our lunch at a Korean restaurant. The food is ma-sae-soh-yoh! Means delicious! Great lunch! And took a table picture with fellow peep. Photographer Bryan.

After lunch went to Gosugul Cave. A natural Monument Gosu Cave. Inside was gorgeous! Like some Ices stone or something. I dunno how to describe. =p It is very big inside. You go Up and down.. Up and down.. And so on.. Had great time climbing!

Next Sunbi Town Folks Village. The Korean Tv Station was there to film us. According to Miss Annie she said as we are the first Singaporean that came to Korea to stay at Sunbi Town Folks Village experiencing the culture! WOW Felt so honor! Well we are on the korea Television channel. =D The village dance some music welcoming us =)

It was wedding ceremony time! Then was asked who want to volunteer for the bride role then ShiMin volunteered. Then again asked for 4 volunteer and Sophia, Mei Zhen, Irene and I volunteered for the bridemaid. As we went to the changing room only the 4 of us and dunno where ShiMin. The korean lady over there asked who is "Shin Bu" (meaning bride) But none of us said anything cause we don't understand Shin Bu at that moment and the lady just pin point Irene to be then feel she wasn't the best one and chose me instead. =.=" Kenny was the groom.

I swear I regretted that time for volunteered to be a bridemaid ending up a bride. But after the whole thing at least I am lucky to be able to tried it out the traditional type of wedding Korean people had. Yup.. Very memorable indeed. But paiseh everyone I disappoint you all! HAHA! I was all along refusing this and that! Sound so useless but just don't want for reason.

Next had a calligraphy time! The above words are written by me. Sa-lang-hae-yo (I love you)
first time doing calligraphy and really love it!
Then had rice pounding session. The traditional rice cake. =D See below! DeYing was pounding! Most of us take turn to try even the teachers! =D After pounding finish, the lady there put some peanut powder I guess? on top of the rice.
Ma-Sae-So-Yo! Yummy!!

Not forgetting taking picture with the statue! Me Bryan and Irene! HAHAS!

Finally we unload our luggages from the coach and check into our room. =) So nice to be able to sleep on the floor. =D There are many steps on the way to the room. Thanks DeYing for helping to carry me and Irene's luggage =) Really nice of him to offer his help.

While other girls went to bath, Irene and I went to the toilet. Outside the toilet I spotted Strawberry of different sizes! Cooollll hahaa! Wanted to plug but afraid got poison. =x

Next we had our dinner! Look at the food! so fong fu! Haha! Only the seaweed soap, egg and pork taste nice. The fish is nice but too many bones! Lazy take out so nvr eat. =p

Then we had a lantern lights night. The lantern was said in the past that if you make wishes using this lantern, your wishes will come true. =D Believe it or not you decides. =)
After this we went bath. 2 express people were bathing in the house so Irene and I went to Mrs Kuan and Ms Tan house to bath.

GOD DAMMIT! The moment I on the water was freezing cold! That night I bath ice water! Can you imagine!?!?!?? I now can understand how people in the olden days bath without heater in the cold weather.... What an experiences!

Then, back to the room packing my bag and after packing doing chinese reflection. I do half way and slept.
Lights off! *yawns*

Day 3 - 24May2008

Rise and shine ***
Morning call at 6am(korea time) which means Singapore time 5am. Surprise to see that the sky are already very bright. =D *interesting* Wash up and pack luggage and check out. Went for breakfast. When Irene and I saw the breakfast we went *WOW*. Look at the breakfast Korean people ate!

Salty and spicy is what they adore *winks*

For me I hate salty food! No choice but to eat. Oh and the small red "cherry" is a tomato! Cute right? x) And their bean spout is much more bigger than what Singapore had. Heh heh!

After breakfast load the luggage again into the coach and off we go to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone area), 4th tunnel. As we walk down the 500m deep tunnel, you can feel that it is getting colder and colder. It about 150m below ground level when you're inside. Then later we took a train between North and South build tunnel about 100m and back again. D= ROAR! so short journey. After the ride we had to walk out. IT like climbing stairs or something. *getting warmer and warmer*

HAHA forgotten who kept complaining "Wah! still have to walk back! So tiring!" Lols.. I think is Joey Yuen. =x

Lunch time! Saw the food on the table and I went *sian...* Firstly I don't really eat seafood except prawn but the prawn inside the steamboat need to be peel off. I lazy so didn't ate the prawn. Thanks Esther for offering to peel for me but I just don't feel like eating. Ended up eating toufu and the soap with rice. X.X while Irene and Esther there enjoying the food. D: but happy for them though :D

The restruant owner was so kind to offer his help to take picture for us =D Really nice of him to do that as this was our first time seeing somebody doing that! x)

Next went to Kwonkumsung Fortress for cable car up the mountain. =D The sun is so glaring there! Feel little hot too! HAhas! So excited that we can climb up the mountain to see the mountain scenery! Wee~

Haha! That the korean bear statue! Quite lovely ^^ Group picture time with the Korean bear! Lols! Irene and I were so excited over climbing the mountain to see the beautiful scenery with mountains around us!
Look at the gorgeous rocky mountain!! But before we go up we went see the buddha!

There two different type of buddha! But I forgotten the another name of the other buddha D: Poor memory. Pardon me too as the name really hard to pronounce. =p While walking towards the buddha there, Bryan suddenly stop! Me and Irene was like "What happen to u??" Then he said " neh! did u see what I am seeing? " Irene looked on the water pipe and go yeah! For me being slow I tot they were refering to the blue poster! =.=" Later then I get to know that the water actually flow without any connection! WOOO!!! SO cool!

Then I walked nearer and realised there a cylinder inside and the water flow inside the cylinder up and out from the top! AMAZING! *W0W* So you see it as a water flowing as if there no pipe connect with it! How creative! Haha

Next walk back to the cable car station and waited for our ride. Along the way Benjamin brought beetle I think. OR some centipide food! YUCKS totally gross! Mr Tang was forced to eat it but he said " Ok I surrender I dare not eat! LOL!" FUnny! Irene and I went all the way eeeyerrr~~~ haha

Finally the we waited for our turn and we took the ride up the mountain! The view is ultra gorgeous! How I love the nature! ^^ When we reached the top, we had climb up. After sometime we finally saw rocks!

See? Rocks everywhere! If during winter it will be covered with snow! Cool eh? The first word when we see the rocks we go "WOW! SO high ar! Must slowly climb le lor!"
But after climbing it was nothing lah! seriously! Better than the previous day. =x
Annie was so cool! She offered to take picture for us with the nice scenery behind us! DeYing and Kenny missing in the picture! HAHA dunno where they go..?

Then we climb even higher to took group pictures! CHEERS!
See how steep? haha! Challenge yourself when you go there =)

Bryan the funniest guy of all! LOL! So willing to let us play "prank" on him. Just for the sake of having fun lo! So nice of him^^
DeYing sweetest guys of all! Always there to offer his help to the girls to carry our heavy luggage or bag. Thanks!! x) Always there to ensure our safety.
Haha! See Mr Tang! He went all the way up and took pictures and climb down. He also shared few pictures he taken on top! V.nice indeed...
Last picture together at the mountain top before we leave the place D:

Took cable car down again. See lots of river that is meandering. All geography. Find it rather interesting =D Let me teach you how to read toilet in korea. That is " Hua zhuang shi" x) Interesting eh? Pronounce it in a gentle way and there you go!

After cable car ride we went for dinner! HAHA BBQ PORK! Ma-sae-so-yoh!
Everyone behave like some hungry ghost festival ghost! Eat so much like nobody business! haha! That of cause! our favourite but not mine. D: I hate this kind of pork! Salty and hard to eat. =p

DeYing so nice keep offer himself to bbq pork for me and Irene! haha! Even for Bryan! Bryan must be so blessed liao lor! =D After dinner we kept laugh non-stop. Thanks to Irene me and Bryan. And some funny comment made by Deying and soonlee. LOLS Forgotten what exactly we were talking. But all I remembered me and Irene especially keep laugh and laugh till Miss Annie look at us thinking why are we laughing madly? What so much to laugh about after dinner? LOLX

We laugh our way out the restruant till the coach. I remembered mentioning each of us sleep at one carpark slot. Cause the carpark slot is so empty and big! Lets lye and relax! xD I am really crazy at that point of time!

Check into hotel Seorak Daemyung Resort! Is a quadrant room sharing! It nice sharing with Cheryl and LiYan as we chit chat few min. I am sad upon how Liyan had changed btw. D: One of the most sad thing of all...

Was told to be in-charge of posting reflection to the CVSSKOREA blog. SO happy that I can be involved.

Lights off @ 1am plus. D: *yawn*

Day 4 - 25May2008

Rise and Shine**

See the number pattern? 1 to 10? xD
Sorry I know we abit lame. Zi Lian maybe that what you think?
That what we do early on that morning when we're bored!
On our way to Kimchi Factory. Make KIMCHI! *yay*

Finally after a long journey we reached the Kimchi Factory! Waited for the lady there to explain the procedure on how to apply the Chilli onto the cabbage. Most of our face look kind of impatient. LOLX

The picture below is the Kimchi I made. =D and not forgetting a picture with my very own kimchi! Also with Irene my buddy in Korea aka BFF. x)

Next after making Kimchi, we went over to a small house beside the kimchi Factory to try on the Korean traditional clothing (Hanbok)! Took many pictures and have fun wearing it of cause! =) Really feels comfortable wearing it in such a cool and nice weather there. :)

Next was Ginseng Farm. I didnt go there though cause of some DV xiao yuan interview Mrs Kuan wanted from me and Kenny on day2 culture differences between China and Korea.
Picture of Ginseng Farm credits to Irene =)

After that we had our lunch. Didnt took any picture. =( Anyway sat with Bryan, DeYing and Irene. Beside Deying was Kenny and SoonLee. HAHA! Really had great time sitting with them while having lunch. DY was complaining that the girls behind us are simply too noisy. *haha*
We had steamboat again btw. Everyone finished their food so fast because of our next location, Everland. All are simply too excited but not really for the 6 of us.

While everyone were up off their seats for coach and toilet, teacher told us to faster eat finish. Suddenly the environment turn to become very peaceful. "*WOW* we exclaimed. Finally we can have some peace and enjoy our wonderful food. *haha* " We slowly eat for like 2mins or so and get our ass off the seats and proceed back to the coach.

Before that we were saying "woah if we continue eating later they leave without us how? LOL" then we faster walk back to the coach. Some of us also said, "nvm want la. Surely most of them still in the toilet. We may not be the last one but the first one back." Well.. We were not exactly the first or last but all we knew is waited for like 5mins or so for those who went for toilet.

HAHA! Not only that we also exclaimed that, "Walao we should've eat for another few mins or so ma. See now waited for them and couldn't finish our food? " Funny people! ^^

NEXT! EVERLAND RESORT! The biggest outdoor theme park in Asia. The environment really looks like Disney Land. According to Mrs Berniece, this theme park is totally a copy from Disney land but Disney land is much more better than this. Including the game. =D
Were given around 5hours in everland =)

Wanted to buy the dolphin balloon but thinking that it is so troublesome to carry it while moving around the everland or to the coach.

Took skyride down the hill. Group with Mr Patrick Chong, Mrs Berniece Kuan, Ms Tan Pei Kee, Bryan, DeYing, Kenny, SoonLee, Irene and I.

The guys behind us. =D

Once we reached there went to this Legend of Mystery Mansion. Queued for like 30mins or so. It weekend people! So Everland is so CROWDED! =.=" The wall there was so badly vandalised. Too bad lor I have to say, the wall is so empty. No wonder the korean vandalised it. =p You can say it some decoration on the wall or something but it is ugly btw. =x

Mr Chong suggested to took a pic of three of us wearing HAT! haha!
Before going in Irene was like, "teacher! I dun wan go in!" She said for like so many times. But we told her we will be there so no need to be afraid. She went in eventually. =) Went in the old man whose house got ghost was asking for our help to kill it using a special laser gun in korean. So we totally don't understand a thing. But luckily we read the board before going in =) *winks*

Then walk around trying to find rose garden to take picture but sadly can't find our way there. =( As we walked also shop at the same time. Seeing so many people wearing so many cute headband, asked Bryan to wear one! Lols. He sure look funny. =p

Then we went to bug XXXX. (sorry i forgotten the name) Basically inside is full of butterfly! Lovely butterfly. =D Next went to watch a 4D show. Approximately 20mins long. LOL dam cool..
Went to Safari Souvenir Shop. Bryan brought a pair of cute rabbit ears. HAA
I brought a cute white tiger! ^^
Went to some shops buy biscuit or chocolate.
Sorry to say thanks to our three lovely teacher queue the T-Express for us for 30min while we were shopping. =x
Okay! Was asking Kenny, Deying, Bryan, Soonlee, IRene and Mr Chong to join me, Ms Tan and Mrs Kuan for the T-Express ride. Awww after long pleading only Bryan, soonlee and Mr Chong went. Kenny DY and Irene don't want! D: Coward lah...

WOW look at it! so huge! Make of wood somemore. SoonLee said that "Wah made of wood. Later break how?" Lols.. It wouldn't break cause the structure is make of triangle. (DNT theory) The korean people were so enthu! LOLS they either clap for encouragement or shake their hand(sry i dunno how to elaborate. ask me if you wish to know) to show enjoy or welcome. Note: They uses that only in Everland. LOL

Reason why I sat this wooden coaster is because I never sat a outdoor coaster because the 360degree sure kill me. For this I see it don't have any 360degree turn so I sat it. Never did I expect.......

Fastern our seat belt and the final one. The crew help Bryan to pull down the safety belt so hardly that it hit Bryan's xxxx. I shall not say what issit. =p Here weee gooo...
During the ride, the coaster go up-up-up-up-up. WOW nice scenery of the entire everland. (verrryyy hiiigghhh ahhhhh) Worldwide highest 77degree. Then slowly the coaster turn turn turn and it go dddddddddddddooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.........
Everyone go AHHHHHHHHH!!!! As for me I wanted to scream but suddenly felt like vomitting. Dam...Feel like fainting too. So I close my eye IMMEDIATELY. Is like "OH NO! The coaster is dropping! DIE DIE! Crash? AHH I don't want to die!" (Recalling what SoonLee was saying that what if we die during this ride? Also I remembered the Final Destination3 T.T ) The first part where the coaster go down IS SO DAM DAM STEEEPP. Then it turn left...Right... You can feel your head move to left and right very fast! I silent throughout the ride. Though tried to scream my pressure out but only for 1s or so.

Ms Tan and I had the same thoughts as in "DAmmit when is this ride gonna end?" After each turn I told myself "issit ending?" as the coaster slow down bit. But it move faster again! Oh no no no!!!~~ Then I prayed hard in my heart. Many things came to my thoughts at that moment! Like what if I faint? What if I couldn't take it till the whole ride is over? Ahhh sobsobs... T.T
Finally the coaster slow down then I open my eye and asked is the ride over???

Tears of joy that I nearly broke down to hear people clapping. I knew at that moment that the ride is finally over! I manage to complete the ride! Oh my! So proud of my zhi cheng li. I stood up and my leg is wobbling. X.X D: Walk out and saw our pictures displayed on how we scream or whatever. Lols. SO funny..

The speed of the coaster is like 107km/h? It is so much much faster than the roller coaster we sat in Escape or Genting. Omgossh! At least I tried something so thrilling ever in my past 15years of my life! "Proud of myself " Btw people! You should go try! To Mrs Kuan it is nothing as she sat many before. For first timer, well... Kind of scary. I don't think my heart could take it for another one.

Before that I mention them coward right? After sitting it, I understand how they feel actually as they said they sat it before. So... yah. Got what I mean?

Took skyride back up the hill and we went for dinner. Saw LiYan and Esther. Well they were kind of seperated from the other girls. I shall not explain why. Went in together with them to a burger restruant. Most of them got something except me. I don't want eat burger D:
There goes my dinner. D:

After their dinner, it time for gathering so we faster walk back. As we walk, Irene and I did bit of window shopping at the same time. Haha! same goes to the guys of cause! Nice DY offered to help us carry our bag. Without hesitate Irene gave her bag to him. For me of cause don't want here and there. But end up also pass to him. Lols. So the both of us kind of Da Xiao Jie walking around freely. IT time! 6.30pm. Took group pictures there. :D Many already at our meeting point except HuiJia. She really gave all of us a BIG SWEAT!. Dam worried for her when we realised she is missing. arghh.. I don't want to explain why she is missing alone though teacher empathize that must stay in groups of 4. Found her in the end. *glad*

Check in into Hotel PJ - Hotel PoongJun, Seoul. =D
The moment we step out of the coach. Brrrr the cold wind is really cold.
Finally step into SEOUL! After some days in the country side.
Saw the steep stairs make me faint ! Cause need carry luggage up? Then saw the evaluator for the luggage up. *winks* phew.. hehe.

Was given the room number 1032. WOW the room is so nice. Except only 1 plug for me and Irene. =.=" Other room got like 3 to 4 plugs! Not fair! But whatever.. The room scenery is super nice! Can see the entire SEOUL! Not really entire but most. Haha! As usual unpack bag and bath.

Sweetdreams. Lights off*

Day 5 - 26May2008
Happy 22nd birthday to BROTHER!
Rise&Shine*

Woke up and changed into our uniform and went to Jungsan High School. =)
Oh their age is from 16 - 18.
The moment we reached there saw a BIG BANNER welcoming us!
CVSS felt so welcomed by them =) First time see a school made banner for overseas visitor like us =) That is something we don't see in Singapore.

Click on the above picture and enlarge it!
See? Do you notice that it is a boys school and the moment we reached their school, the student all went to the window and look out. LOL. If we ever do that in Singapore sure get a fat scolding.

Went to their school library for some interaction with the good English speaking student there. Also the chair we sat on was really very comfortable! Your spine wouldn't feel hurts when you sit long =) After some briefing on school motto, history et cetera, was seperated into groups.
In the classroom we were allocated to different groups again for some topics given by their teacher and we shared the differences between Singapore and Korea in School Life.

See the guy I'm speaking to? He the one been translating to his friend. LOL
Not long we end our interaction and went to their cafeteria aka canteen in Singapore for our lunch. The main dishes is beef. D: Can't eat. Ate rice only instead. Though I can choose if I want eat not? =x

The student there keep took out their camera and take picture of Sophia and us cv

After our lunch not forgetting groups picture again with our "gang" =D
Return our tray to this beautiful korean lady below.

You will never imagine that when we got back to our coach waiting for teacher, the korean guy got onto our coach and kept asking that they want to take a picture of Sophia! LOL! The way the react seems that never seen beautiful girl before. Well we do understand. It's boy school? Many took turns to get onto the coach and took picture! Like queuing up for some idol autograph or something haha!
De Ying forever there to be the one as our "security" ensure our safety. ;) *winks*
Then teacher got back into the coach and the principal of JSHS gave us pen as a souvenir. So nice of them =) Took a group picture again. (:

Left the school around 3plus. The coach drove us to ??? and we changed into our own clothing. Saw this particular stone and took a picture with it. HAHA! See the big black hand and my "small little" hand.

Next back to SEOUL. See this lovely Robot?
Yup. Went to the Ubiquitous Dream Exhibition
! Inside had many high technology stuff! Damn cool stuff! =)

City of Seoul =)
As the water flow...
It meander...
To here...
Here... And you see a waterfall! =D
An unusual geographical feature-waterfall from a river in the middle of the Seoul city =)

Group picture together along the meander =)
Irene and I
Next we went to Gyeongbok Palace.
This palace actually is the palace where Goong is film. =)
I shall let the picture do the talking. I Find it quite boring though. =x

I look weird. nvm. Took this pic with my zodiac. =D rooster.
After this, WE HAD 2hours shopping time! At what street? I have no idea. All I know is we can get lost easily there. The cosmetic is really dam cheap! Accessories also! Haha. When it time to gather, I brought an ice-cream. IT so dam long can. And the way I ate it is really horrible lah! The ice-cream melts and dirty my hand. I am wearing my hat at that time and the dam ice-cream touches my poor hat. D: Dirty it! D: Thanks DeYing for taking tissue and help me clean it. Aww.. how embarrassing. Malu liao lor. The pathetic ice-cream not only drip on my hand also my shoes. D: Back to the bus I took out my wet tissue and clean it. Thanks DY again for getting at least 4 pieces of tissue for me. =.=" He claim that I will drip even more as I don't know how to eat an ice-cream properly. LOL! Well I admit I don't know how to eat a at least 10cm long ice-cream.
DAM Ma Lu...

Next was dinner.
Had Spring Chicken Ginseng Soap.

Those who like Ginseng will love this dish. But I don't like so this dinner was rather not a very nice one for me. But the soap is nice =) The rice inside the chicken taste yucky..*puke*. Full of ginseng smell. After finishing our food, asked Bryan if he still wants his bowl. He said no. Sooo... I poured 4 cups of ginseng wine into his, plus 1 tablespoon of pepper and salts. Mix mix it! Irene added chilli powder and some soy sauce. Mix Mix. Asked Bryan to try. He went to try and WOW he puke the whole thing out. LOL!
Then when Benjamin walked over, we asked him to try. Without hesitation he tried. Kind of stupid? The moment he tried he nearly pukes. LOL!

Back to hotel PJ.
Lights off! around 12plus to 1am.

Day6 - 27May2008

Rise and shine =)
Went to another school in the city of Seoul, Wolchon Middle School.
Age should be around 13 - 15.
Another heartwarming school =) Make a banner to welcome CVSS.
I think Korean people cares alot on people coming to visit their school. =D

Was Seperated into groups of 6.
Irene,Patricia,LiYan,Cheryl, Bryan and SoonLee were together as a group. Was being lead by one of the SL there around the school. When I pass by all the classroom, I realised that all their hairstyle look almost the same! And you could hardly really see a different in them. All look so same. Well, they claim that it is the most IN hairstyle. Which I feel it only suit certain girl but not all.

Look below! The staff room in Korea? Hopefully only just a few old school have this kind of environment for teacher. Personally I feel that Singapore school, Staff room is much more better =D
One of the pretty korean girl over there =)
Can considered one of the rare pretty one.
Click the few picture below to enlarge and see what I mean by one of the rare one.

See it? Comment yourself =) No offence please!
Another pretty korean girl =) (Up)
Irene and Me with our tour leader. (Below)

Impress by the way how the principal stand! Really a Korean! Singaporean Principal don't stand like what he do! Got pattern. =) Look great! I feel that Singaporean should learn from those Korean Man.
Lastly Group picture again together. =D
Then went back to the coach asked the boys if they spotted any pretty one? All go "eww... Mushroom hair" Lol... that sound bad =x

Next location! Observation Hall.
Was sitting on the chair where we can see the North Korea through the window panel but sadly that day was very foggy thus can't really see the entire of North Korea. D: Also sat there watch a video played there. I watch half way fall asleep =x Many fall asleep too.
My reason of falling asleep is not because tired, is because too glaring! The bright light we are facing simply make me want to close my eye. D:
An exhibition of North Korea classroom.
Whose that two man on the wall?
Haha! see Mr Tang in the picture, trying to act as a North Korean teacher. While we sitting there as a NK student..

Their table and desk.

Next stop, National Museum of Korea.
Let the picture do the talking =)
Click to enlarge to view wording.

I find that the jar coffin is rather interesting =) I mean I like the name of it.
As it look like a jar and is a coffin. So named Jar Coffin? =D

Next stop, War Memorial Hall.

See the two man hugging each other? There actually a story behind. This two are brothers. They were somehow seperated because of war.
You can actually different who is a North Korean and which is a South Korean!
Just by the look of their height! The short one is a North Korean while the tall one is South Korean. Why? Nutrition reason. =)

It really sadden my heart to see many names being displayed who died during the Korean War.
Below: There no name and is empty. Why no name? It is build for those who died without identification as people can't find their IC or gone missing during the war.

Many countries people like US,UK,Canada,Sweden,Italy, Hawaii, Brazil and many other more country! How sad... D:

The student volunteer's name who died during the war.
Step into the 38 parallel line. North Korea.

After touring around the War Memorial, had a shopping time at Doota Shopping center and a few more? Oh my goosssh! The shopping mall is so big! Like bugis street but bigger. 1st,2nd and 3rd level all female clothing and shorts etc.. 4th and 5th is Male stuff. 6th onwards sell all those belts, accessories, wallet etc... The shirt there is ultra super nice! Cheap also. =)
Cool right?

But don't get jealous! Cause we only got 30mins in this super lovely "Bugis" shopping mall D: SAD! humph....

Had BBQ pork dinner again. This time round the BBQ pork not so nice D: I ate only a spoonful of rice. Meaning I didn't ate much that night. D: Only 20mins btw. LOL

Rush to Chongdong Theater.
Watch the Korean Traditional performances.
Beginning was BORED. and the place I sat on had an air-con behind directly blew towards me. Buurrrrr.... *cold* Not long of cause, toilet!

Back to topic, the drumming and dancing is so cool! Very nice and lovely =)
The Korean dresses look very lovely =)

Took a picture with one of the cast/dancer. Picture was with Mr Tang D:
Took a picture with Irene and Ben outside the entrance while waiting for others to gather.
Back to hotel. Bath, pack luggage and sleep. Oh btw had a good-night chat together with Bryan, SoonLee and Irene =)
*Lights off

Day7 - 28May2008
Last day in Korea D: sobsob...

Woke up at 7.30am and bath. Changed. Then Bryan called our room and asked if the Geography wks need to do not. So I said since you free now do lor. Then he suggested if want to do together? SO I said okay lor. So he and SoonLee came to our room and we do our reflection booklet together. At 9.30am went to MrChong room and hand in the reflection booklet. Back to room do final packing of stuff and checking and check out at 10am.

well well.. Kenny and DeYing is always there to help to load the luggage at usual. Carry down the stairs too =D Sweet.. * Oh! not forgetting about Bryan! He do help out too =) These 3 the nicest of all! They deserve a BIG CLAP ya? =D

Had breakfast at 10.20am? Waited for the dishes to be served for very long~~ No choice only 1 chef to cook for 3 tables. While waiting we started to stand up and KAN BEI! (cheers!) Took picture also =) Started to be lame and slowly take a nice shot of the picture where by the cups is facing down with light. Picture shown above =) The one I edited with names. Yup took quite a number of shots. Till all our hand is tired =D Really had great fun with them =D
Went to the so called Chinatown there for like 10mins as it was raining. The rain is cute. =D According to Annie this Chinatown issn't really Chinatown. Cause the restruant there are Korean but not chinese. Unlike Singapore. Really a Chinatown. =)

Next the best part! The bus drove into a ship and the ship transport us to another island. Jeju island I think?

Get off the bus and went to the second floor and took pictures. (:
The seagull are lovely ^^ SO desperate for food. They follow us from 1 island to another island while we fed them and take picture of them =)

Want see more picture of seagull? Ask me! =D
When we reached the other island went for our lunch at around 12.30pm. =.="
Just ate our breakfast and had lunch. We had some ramen? I dunno what issit called but the noodle is very very very thick. LOL of cause I can't squeeze the food into my stomach! Ate half way and went shop for beverage at Duty Free Shop.

Everything there is so expensive =.="

At 2pm left the place and went to Incheon Airport for baggage check in.
Took a picture with our very patient tour guide, MISS ANNIE aka YeongJu.
Farewell. Miss Annie. =(
Inside the Gate =D

My air ticket.
Many of them change their seats among friend..
Actually was sitting with Joanna and Soon Lee. Then Deying change with soonlee, Joey change with Kenny. I sit at soonlee seats which is corner but not window seat. So throughout the whole journey I was sitting with DeYing and air.

Last picture in Korea before departing.

On air! The scenery = beautiful!

Sunsetting =D
Landed at 9.23pm. Outside temperature 28 degree Celsius. =.=" Everyone go" waa so hot!" Out the plane around 9.35pm and took luggage and left airport approximately 10.35pm.

At the carpark was loading the luggage and I started to feel warm and perspire abit. D:
